About
Abdur Rashid of Moheshpur upazila, Jhenaidah, grew grapes on three bighas in 2025. He planted saplings of at least 12 foreign grape varieties, and thanks to the mix he harvested good crops of brown, red and green grapes and got good prices. Besides growing grapes he aims to produce quality saplings. District agriculture figures show 0.66 hectares under trial cultivation of foreign grapes in Moheshpur, the most of any upazila in the district.
