Terms and conditions

AyRojgar is a record of small businesses in Bangladesh — capital, costs, margins, risks and rules, each figure with its source. It is information, not advice.

Which business suits you is your decision. We guarantee no profit, give no investment advice, and ask you to visit the market yourself and talk to two or three people already doing the work before you commit real money.

You are welcome to read it, learn from it and send the link to friends. What you may not do:

• Reuse our data or listings in another site, app or book. If it is for teaching or research, ask us — we usually agree.
• Collect data from the site with automated tools, or send so many requests that the site slows down for others.
• Try to break the site's security, get into someone else's account, or copy part of the site to mislead people.

Use your real name and your own email, and do not share your password. You are responsible for everything done through your account. If you think someone else has access to it, change your password at once and tell us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why when we can.

What you write stays yours. By submitting it for publication you allow us to show, translate and shorten it on the site — nothing more.

The rules for writing:

• Write what you know. Do not present invented figures or hearsay as fact.
• Do not blame anyone by name in a story — say what happened and what it taught you.
• Do not post photographs or text that are not yours.
• No abuse, threats, advertising, or religious or political agitation.
• Get someone's consent before publishing their words. We record consent before a story is published.

Staff read every comment, story and correction. We may edit, decline or remove something, particularly where it is wrong, unproven or harmful. When a correction is accepted, the page records what changed, so anyone can see the history.

A verification mark means we have seen documents and are satisfied that the person does that work. It does not mean they are successful, that you will profit by dealing with them, or that we stand behind their work.

Where a supplier has paid to appear higher in the directory, it always carries a "sponsored" label. No payment can change a business's figures, its ranking, a comparison or an AI answer — that rule is absolute. We are not a party to your dealings with any supplier; checking them is up to you.

We introduce two people to each other, and nothing more. We do not hold or transfer any money, we do not raise money for anyone, and we do not say who is a good partner. Both sides have their identity checked, and names and phone numbers are shared only when the person who received the request accepts it.

We do not check anyone's business accounts, finances or honesty. Meet in person, see the place, read the documents, and put the agreement in writing with a lawyer — the decision and the risk are yours.

• No one can post a profit rate, percentage or promise of profit here, and we do not publish any.
• Anyone who asks you for money before giving you any — whatever they call it — is committing fraud. Anyone who does this loses their account and their verification.
• We will never ask you for money. Tell us if somebody asks in our name.
• There is no commission for introducing other people here, and such schemes are illegal in Bangladesh.

The AI answers only from this site's verified figures and shows which ones it used. It can still be wrong: for anything that matters, read the source it cites. It will not tell you which business to put money into, and it gives no religious rulings.

We take no money from anyone, pay no one, and are party to no sale or investment. If somebody asks you for money in our name, it is a fraud — please tell us.

We try to keep the site running, but we do not guarantee it. Maintenance, faults or an outage at a service we depend on can take it offline for a while. We may change or withdraw any part of the site at any time.

The figures are collected and checked with care, but markets change and some mistakes may remain. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any profit or loss from a decision you make based on what you read here. If a figure looks wrong, suggest a correction and we will check it.

These terms are governed by the law of Bangladesh, and any dispute will be settled in the courts of Bangladesh.

The date on this page changes with them, and anything substantial will be announced on the site. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
