About
Co.Creation.Architects is the architecture practice of Jhenaidah architects Khondokar Hasibul Kabir and Suhailey Farzana, a married couple. In 2015 they began working to make their home town of Jhenaidah more liveable; gathering the views of people from all walks of life in the municipality and bringing in outside architects, they drew up 'Urban River Spaces', a plan along the Nabaganga river with footpaths, water gardens, community ghats and an open-air stage. The design won the Aga Khan Award for Architecture in the 2020-22 cycle and an International Union of Architects 2022 award. Jhenaidah municipality has built part of it as 'Debdaru Avenue', now a popular recreation spot in town. Hasibul Kabir studied architecture at BUET and did a master's at the University of Sheffield; Suhailey Farzana studied architecture at BRAC University and did a master's in development studies. They live on Kobi Sukanta Road in Jhenaidah town.
