About
Ibrahim Hossain, also known locally as 'Mohammedan', runs a tea stall in front of Purbasha cinema hall in Islampur Para, Magura town. The son of Liakat Hossain of Parnanduali village on the edge of town, he is a former Magura district football team player and a regular midfielder for the Magura 'Young Star' academy. A fan of Argentina and Messi, he painted his whole tea stall in Argentina's flag colours when the 2022 World Cup began, which made him a talking point in the area. Before the final he announced that if Argentina won, tea at his stall would be free all the next day, and on 19 December 2022 he kept his word, serving free tea to everyone who came.
