About
Jonaki Fragrance is the Bangladeshi perfume brand of interior designer Nasreen Jamir. After three years of research she launched it in 2020 with five scents inspired by five white flowers: dolonchapa, beli, gondhoraj, rajanigandha and jui. She chooses the scents and designs packaging and labels in her own studio; the perfumes are made and bottled in Malaysia. Lipsticks, compact powder, gel eyeliner, a jewellery line and four attars were added later. Products are sold at Perfume Bangladesh, Dhali, Unimart and Almas perfume corners, on its own website and social media, and since 17 February 2024 at a flagship boutique in the InterContinental Dhaka, which also stocks her cotton and muslin scarves, wooden wall hangings and pearl necklaces. Expatriate Bangladeshis buy too.
