MH Handi Craft is a hogla-leaf handicraft business in Fulbaria, Mymensingh, run by Mojammel Hossain; about 250 families earn a living through it. Around 120 kinds of hogla products — bags, baskets, boxes, vases, floor mats and more — are made in five villages of the upazila (Nishchintapur, Bhalukjan, Koiyarchala, Kushmail and Baruka), worth about Tk 3 crore a year. Village women earn Tk 5,000–6,000 a month from the work. The eco-friendly products are exported to Europe, America and elsewhere.
