About
Rima's Care is the Facebook-based online venture of Narsingdi woman entrepreneur Sajida Akter Rima. A few months after starting it she learned of the women entrepreneurs' fair held every Saturday afternoon in the municipal park beside the railway line south of Narsingdi Government College, and began taking part. In her words, the fair helped her products reach buyers quickly; unable to open an outlet at the start, she had depended on online sales, and the fair gave her a chance to sell offline as well. The fair is run by the Facebook group 'Narsingdi Zila Nari Uddoktader Mela', and sellers pay Tk 160 for table and chair hire.
