Shari Bitan is a saree and cloth business in the busy Chakbazar area of Bhola town, owned by Md. Sohel. It had two storerooms, one small and one large, on the second floor of the Shari Bitan building, holding a large stock of sarees, cloth and other goods. Prothom Alo reported that on Sunday afternoon, 21 June 2026, a fire, thought to have been caused by an electrical short circuit, burned both storerooms. The owner put the loss at about Tk 25–30 lakh; the fire service estimated Tk 15–20 lakh. The report places the shop in Chakbazar's cloth market.
