সৌদি আরবপ্রবাস শেষে শামীম আল মামুন ২০১২ সালে সখীপুরের কচুয়া গ্রামে বাড়ির পাশে কোয়েলের খামার শুরু করেন ('সোনার বাংলা কোয়েল খামার' নামে), ২০২৩ সালে হ্যাচারি চালু করেন। প্রায় ১৬ হাজার মা কোয়েল থেকে মাসে প্রায় দুই লাখ বাচ্চা বিভিন্ন জেলার খামারিদের কাছে বিক্রি হয়। প্রতিদিন বিভিন্ন জেলা থেকে মানুষ খামার দেখতে ও পরামর্শ নিতে আসেন।
