Three thousand taka in the first fortnight, two lakh a month now

Writing in English online alongside a college job: 3,000 taka in the first 10-15 days, and about 2 lakh taka a month now with a team of four.

This English lecturer at a degree college in Dharmapasha, Sunamganj, began writing product and company descriptions in English online in August 2017. He worked on a computer bought back in 2000 with tuition earnings, so no fresh capital went in at the start. The first money came fast: 3,000 taka within 10-15 days of beginning. He kept the college post and wrote alongside it, and his income has grown to roughly 2 lakh taka a month with a team of four. At one point his writing profile was suspended for three months and the work stopped until it was reinstated.
