Gias Uddin (35) of Hoglakandi village in Kashiani Upazila, Gopalganj, joined a private bank after his master's in 2014 and left it in 2018 to start a goat farm in his village. When that did not work he sold the goats and built Agro Dairy Farm with four cows; it now has more than 150 cattle producing 400 litres of milk a day. Alongside the farm he has his own sweet shop, Agro Sweets Village, where curd, rasmalai, rasgolla, chhana, ghee and other sweets are made from the farm's pure cow's milk.
