In Azmeru village, Moulvibazar Sadar, a group of young and diaspora entrepreneurs has built 'Bird Park and Eco Village', a destination for nature and bird lovers. Spread over 5.5 acres and built with an investment of about Tk 7 crore, it has native and foreign fruit and flower trees and birds including macaws, cockatoos and pheasants. Facilities include a Bird Learning Centre, an illusion museum, a kids' zone and a restaurant. Managing director Jahed Ahmed Chowdhury said it would open to visitors after a formal opening on 31 October 2025.
