About
Floating Peyara Park is a visitors' park built inside the guava gardens of Adamkathi village in Atghar Kuriana union, Nesarabad upazila; its director is Pronoy Majumder. In the peak guava season during the monsoon a floating market is held on the Atghar Kuriana canal, drawing local and foreign tourists, and parks and picnic spots have grown up in the guava gardens for them. Visitors reach the gardens by trawler from Kuriana bazar. In August 2022 the Thai ambassador, Makawadee Sumitmor, toured the park and spent about 45 minutes there; the park served her guavas and amras (hog plums).
