About
Gazi Agro Farm is Zakir Gazi's farm in Tushkhali union of Mathbaria upazila, Pirojpur. The Gazi family started it in 2019 with 12 cattle; it now has more than 327. Before Eid-ul-Azha 2026 the farm offered a four-year-old Holstein Friesian bull born on the farm, about 1,100 kg (locals call it 'Shanto'), at an asking price of Tk 8 lakh; the district livestock officer called it the biggest cow in the district. Its care costs about Tk 1,000 a day, on a diet of maize, gram, dry straw, green grass, wheat bran and silage. Farm workers including Delowar, Monir and Miraj take turns feeding, bathing and cleaning. People come from far away every day to see the bull at the farm.
