About
Green Savers has worked on urban agriculture in Dhaka since 2010. It inspects rooftops and prepares 3D designs, and builds indoor gardens, outdoor landscaping, vertical gardens and automatic irrigation. A team of trained gardeners called 'Gachher Daktar' (plant doctors) maintains gardens: one day a week costs Tk 3,500 a month, two days Tk 7,000 and three days Tk 10,500. It also supplies fertiliser, soil, pots, seeds, saplings, medicines and tools, and an experienced agriculturist can visit when needed.
