Hasna Begum of Chakdah Sardarbari in Melandah municipality, Jamalpur, has supported her household by selling tea since her husband Sultan Mia died about 12 years ago, raising three daughters and a son on it. She sells tea and paan from a small stall in front of the CNG autorickshaw stand in Melandah town; most of her customers are autorickshaw drivers. She opens at dawn and closes in the evening. According to driver and customer Fazlul Haque, she has sold tea and paan at this spot for a long time.
