Jenit Chakma's fruit shop at Banarupa Bazar in Rangamati stocks almost every fruit of the season, currently mango and blood fruit among others. He collects fruit from farmers in Rangamati's upazilas, sells it in town and also sends fruit to Chattogram. He sells 40–50 kg of blood fruit a day; orders also come from Chattogram after people see photos on social media, and some days 300–400 kg go outside Rangamati. By his account blood fruit sells at Tk 600–700 a kg at the start and end of the season and Tk 300–400 in mid-season.
