This is the beef shop of trader Saidul Islam at Manpasha Bazar in Nalchity, Jhalokathi. In Ramadan 2024, when beef was selling at Tk 750 per kg, he drew attention by selling it at Tk 580 per kg every Friday. Buyers were given a slip and could buy from half a kilo to two kilos each, and people came from far away when they heard. Saidul said he was not doing it for profit but to help low-income people, and would sell at that price every Friday of Ramadan.
