About
A 2022 BSS report named MEP Agro of Babuganj Upazila among the notable businesses selling Qurbani animals through apps, Facebook and websites, where buyers see each animal's price, photos and weight and then call to buy. A 2026 Prothom Alo report called it one of Barishal's leading farms: more than 250 cattle were prepared for Qurbani and almost all were sold before Eid. Its manager, Rafiur Rahman, said many buyers now trust farms more than cattle markets because the risk of sick animals is lower.
