About
Robin Hasan, a young man from Matiranga town in Khagrachhari, is studying for a bachelor's degree at a local college. For years his father sold the mangoes from 27 trees around their home for a pittance. In 2020 Robin first sold mangoes on Facebook and got double the price, selling about 100 kg in two days. Since then he has sold his own and his neighbours' mangoes the same way. In 2021 he used the profit to plant another 180 Amrapali saplings on family land, which have started fruiting this year.
