Sarkar Traders is a chhana (cottage cheese) factory in Amaikola village, Santhia upazila, Pabna. Local dairy farmers bring their milk here; in June 2023 the factory was buying milk at Tk 45-48 a litre. Its manager, Md. Rashedul, said it used to collect more milk for chhana, but with lower demand it was then collecting 30 maunds a day. The factory is in the Bera-Santhia belt, the country's main milk-producing area.
