About
Khalil Kazi's farm is one of eight fish farms in the Gaimara area of Alawalpur union, Gosairhat upazila, Shariatpur, and covers 50 bigha. It raises freshwater carp. Its high embankments keep it from flooding even in the monsoon, and workers are employed there. The farm made the news in November 2022 when a seven-foot saltwater crocodile was caught in it.
