When COVID restrictions stopped weddings, milad gatherings and every other social function, the rental equipment simply sat. The report says the business took under 300 taka in roughly three months. The town's ten community centres were shut in the same period, so the mic work and the decorating work stopped together. When gatherings stop, income in this trade falls to nothing, while the equipment still has to be stored and kept in working order.
