Fifty taka of breakfast money spent on data, now 10 lakh a month

This young man from Pirojpur began freelancing during the COVID-19 period with almost nothing to put in. He saved the 50 taka a day his family gave him for breakfast and spent it on internet data, which was effectively his entire start-up cost. He learned social media marketing, video editing and content creation, taking 100 taka an hour while he was still learning. His first paid job arrived in the first week after he opened an Upwork account. He now reports around 10 lakh taka a month and 20 young people from his own district work with him, three of whom have since gone independent. The article says he recently booked a flat worth roughly 1.5 crore taka.
