About
About 130 years ago Keshab Chandra Ghosh opened 'Mishti Mukh' at Botola, No. 1 Railgate, Narayanganj town; with the railway station, launch terminal and bus terminal nearby, its curd and sweets quickly became known. When road widening demolished the shop in 1988 it moved next door as 'New Mishti Mukh'. It is now run by fourth-generation Sudipta Ghosh. Curd and sweets are made from 1,200 kg of milk every day. Its signature is the 300–350 g giant chomchom known as 'Challenger', made to order. Moktar Hossain has worked here for 42 years.
