Mst. Salma Akter of Barishal trained in beautification and boutique work at the District Youth Development Department, then took a short-term loan from it to set up Venus Beauty Parlour. She now runs two parlours under the Venus Beauty Parlour name, along with a boutique house. Together they employ 10 young women, permanent and temporary.
