A young local businessman spent about one lakh taka to build her a shop and stock it with new shoes and sandals. It opened on the morning of 5 August 2020. She can now sell new footwear alongside the repair work instead of sitting on the pavement. The skill was never the obstacle: the shop and the first stock were.
