Mohammad Hasan (35) of Khurushkul in Cox's Bazar Sadar upazila keeps local and foreign birds at his home. Every bird he sells is bred on his home farm. For six years he has traded birds at the Friday bird market in Cox's Bazar town, and the bird business supports his family. One Friday he sold four pairs of lovebirds and seven pairs of racing pigeons in two hours.
