Moni Fish is a fish arot at Kuakata fish market in Patuakhali, directed by Rubel Ghorami. Coastal fishermen bring their catch here to be sold by open auction. In October 2024 a 2.28 kg hilsa caught by fisherman Almas Khan was auctioned here, bidding starting at Tk 4,000 and ending at Tk 6,840. Rubel Ghorami said Almas Khan, who fishes with drift nets off the Bay of Bengal shore, often brings large fish to the arot.
