Shahjalal Quality Halim is Md. Hiron Mia's mobile stall on the footpath beside Pubali Bank in Chouhatta, Sylhet city. Hiron, from Kolkoli village in Chhatak, Sunamganj, came to Sylhet 25 years ago and worked as a sweet-maker for various restaurants and companies. In 2022 he opened this stall himself. He makes halim with beef shank and tripe, and roti from rice flour, and the stall quickly became popular. He sells 150 to 200 bowls of halim a day on average, and many customers take parcels. Chairs are set out on the footpath for people to eat. After costs he earns about Tk 1,000 a day. The stall is open from 5 pm to midnight.
