Food processingGrinding and blending bran, broken rice and cake into granular cattle feed for farmers. Company feed is Tk 55-60/kg while inputs run Tk 38-62/kg, so the gap is thin. Operating without a DLS licence carries a Tk 50,000 fine.
Food processingBuying paddy, parboiling and hulling it, and selling the rice. 24,000 kg of paddy gives 15,000 kg of rice, and the husk, bran and broken grain return another Tk 6.45 on every kilo sold.
